Nobody cares
by Steven Clotzman

I’ve been to the top of the world
Sailed all the seven seas
I made my mark but the truth is stark
Nobody cares about me

Well I’ve dined with the finest ladies
Out on the town for all to see
I’d tell you more but it still leaves me sore
Now nobody cares about me

About me, what about me?
It’s all such a mystery
I gave you my best and this thanks that I get
About me, what about me?
We once had a history
You were obsessed, now it’s like we’ve never met

You know everybody used to love me
They said, “Oh, blessed is he!”
Now when I say my prayers, it’s like no one’s there
Nobody cares about me
