Just make-believe

Give me a pill for the dance in my head
I know I should be grateful, at least I’m not dead
And after all I have achieved
It’s not much, just make-believe

I met seasick sailor who glowed in the dark;
A butt naked tailor with a cat that could bark
An old woman offered me tea
She said it’s nothing much but make-believe

Three shades of black and blue circle my eyes
And I can’t catch a wink though believe me I’ve tried, believe me I’ve tried

Nothing feels better than to stand in this rain
Sure I get wetter but it’s beat going insane
Some wish while others just grieve
But it’s not much, just make-believe

Now six shades of black and blue circle my eyes
And I can’t catch a wink though believe me I’ve tried, believe me I’ve tried

When I was a boy they taught me how fall
It’s comes in quite handy, when I’m scaling the walls
See, I’ve still got some tricks up my sleeve
It’s not much, just make-believe
