Rock and roll absurdities

I got a Gibson dog and a Fender cat
‘Cause air guitar is where it’s at
I’m a long in the tooth and short on glamour
So I sprinkle my songs with a little bad grammar
Won’t you help take care of these
Rock-n-roll absurdities?

Bottle of scotch I call Keith Moon
Treat my women like a hotel room
But my real passion’s love and peace
I even got them tattooed on my knees
Won’t you take care of these
Rock-n-roll absurdities?

The doctors tell me there’s no hope
If I don’t find some way to cope
My voice is shot but I don’t care
As much as when they cut my hair
Won’t you help take care of these
Rock-n-roll absurdities?
